All About Road Trip

Longed for a road trip back home, in this nice early Autnum April, I have got the chance after stucked in a 50Km X 40Km island for 2 years.

Driving is a lot of fun, especially with good friends. Either cruising at 70Kmh or spinning at 150Kmh, road trips are a must for every real petrol heads, according to my Motoring Bible.

But the sad thing is the speed cameras and  police radars are so serious nowadays in Australia. Double demerit points and fines during weekends and holidays. Undercover cops are everywhere.......that's kind of annoying and degrade of the driving enjoyment. I asked a question that does it help to lower the accident rate? the answer is NO. Our fabulous Oz government just wanna increase their income via this "clever" heavy penalty system...what a sarcastic idea on top of our 40% tax rate policy.

Anyway, driving is still my favourite activity in life. In Sydney, Audi S4 was my great companion, and the Mercedes was a good runner around town. Hardly compare to my Alfa in Singapore in terms of performance and pleasure of shifting , but the luxury and comfort that Italian can't match with Germans by all means.

Looking forward to my F360 in Sydney in the near future and more road trips ahead. Speed limits???? What the hell is that???? I don't know and I don't care........simply just press on gas pedal and steer to the right direction!!!!

Busy Month

Total hours logged in Feb and March was 174, total sectors logged was 88. No idea about the meaning of this workload??....doesn't matter, as long as you know I was really shacked by the end of each cycle of duties, and tired to death like a zombie.

But flying is load of fun, lot of memories remain..... everytime I packed my flight bag, I still look forward to my next duty.

Many friends asked what do I usually do during flights??? Well,... of course flying the bloody aircraft. Apart from that, our work is no different to you sitting in front of your desk. we all work like a dog anyway. Only deviation is you call that office and we call that cockpit.

Came back from CJB 1 hour before scheduled arrival time today. How could we do that?? Look at the picture below and you can tell why.....the speed was just sitting at the bottom of the Vmo. Thanks for the nice and smooth weather, and most importantly, thanks for a rushy Captain.

By the way, would like to salute to all our friends in the sky who share the same value of flying as I do, including our military siblings. Also would like to thanks all fellow aviators who helped relaying my HF transmission when I was out of range over the Indian Ocean.......

Sunday Special!!!

Special news this week.....Poor Howe Yang just spent a night in the Hospital for his knee's operations. Hope he will get well soon!!!

By the way, seems like he really enjoy staying in the ward. Since so many cabin crew visiting him in one single day, he must be thinking staying there for a while longer would not be any harm at all. Apart from that, personal LCD TV provided, free WiFi, and food also looks pretty decent too.....
